ABOUT

Amanda Friedman is a 22-year-old multi-faceted comedian based in Los Angeles. She received her BFA in Dramatic Writing (Television Concentration) from NYU Tisch School of the Arts ('22), where she also had a Double Minor in Producing and The Business of Entertainment, Media & Technology (BEMT). Growing up on the Autism Spectrum, Amanda's goal as an entertainer is to communicate through comedy, shedding light on topics that are light-hearted and silly, as well as those that are more taboo and controversial. She began pursuing comedy in high school, where she was accepted into NYU's Dramatic Writing High School Summer Program (2016) and studied with the Upright Citizens Brigade (2017-18). Throughout her college experience, Amanda participated in several projects in which she wrote, produced, assisted, acted-in, and created. She spent her senior year as a member of the NYU Los Angeles Cohort, where she interned with the American Arts Film & Television Academy. She finished her first professional TV role in the Production Office of American Auto Season 2 and currently performs Stand Up in New York and Los Angeles.
